7th Bramshill – Hook Scout Group

To all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Parents, Executive Committee and friends of Hook Scout Group
Cubs Circle of Coins – 11 October 10.30-12 noon (in the gardens opposite the post office) full uniform. This event is coming upon us quickly. This will be also be an opportunity for any other youth members that are not part of the Group to come along and have a chat with the Cubs and Leaders and also to any adult looking to come and help the Group
Remembrance Day Parade (100% turnout please) 9 November – please meet at the village car park (opposite the White Hart Hotel) at 10.40am, we will then parade to St. John’s Church for the service and after the service parade back to the Scout HQ. Scouts were used in both the World War’s as runners with messages, which is another reason we parade on Remembrance Day.
Listed below are the items of uniform that should be worn by each section, in the summer months youth members are expected still to wear full uniform to section meetings and leaders will allow them to remove thicker tops. There are optional polo shirts for each section that can be worn under sweat shirts/shirts, if not a t-shirt is advisable to be worn.

Jumble Sale – 22 November 10-12 noon. Items for sale can be bought to the HQ on Friday 21 November
4-6pm, no electrical goods, or large items.
Cubs Christingle – District event at St. John’s Church in Hartley Wintney on Tuesday 2nd December 7pm – more details to follow
Panto time – Cubs will be going to the Anvil again this year to see Aladdin on Sunday 14th December – details have been sent out to the Cub Section
Dates for 2009 –
St. George’s day parade (100% turnout) on Sunday April 26th -more details next year.
Scout Camp – Skip has booked the first bank holiday weekend in May – he will be sending further details out.
Cub Camp – 22-25 May, this is a firm booking and the Beavers will be visiting the camp over that weekend as well – more details next year.
